TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE: “Glee,” 8-10
In the season's final two Tuesdays,
“Glee” has huge events – the national competition tonight,
graduation next week.
For the nationals, Lindsay Lohan is a
celebrity judge. The club has worked out a new routine – and Tina
sees everything differently after bumping her head.
TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE II: “Dancing With
the Stars,” 9 p.m., ABC.
The Hough siblings will again get large
chunks of attention.
Derek has won three championships.
He's in the final four again, this time with Maria Menounos.
His sister Julianne won it twice,
before leaving to sing and act. She's back to do a song from “Rock
of Ages” – the movie featured on last week's “American Idol,”
hosted by her boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.
Also singing are Carrie Underwood ad
Alanis Morrissette. Also in the final four are Donald Driver (with
newcomer Peta Murgatroyd) and William Levy and Katharine Jenkins
(with Cheryl Burke and Mark Ballas, each a two-time winner). By the
end of the night, we'll have a final three.
TONIGHT'S ALTERNATIVE: “Pregnant in
Heels” season-opener, 10:01 p.m, Bravo.
Rosie Pope brings immense likability to
her work as a pregnancy concierge. That's needed, with the odd
couples she helps tonight.
One is intent on home birth, without
anesthesia. That idea mostly sees to come from the husband.
In the other, the husband is
disinterested in sex; the wife (in her last trimester) is wildly
interested. Rosey brings in experts to offer some extremely explicit
Other choices include:
– “America's Got Talent,” 8-10
p.m., NBC. Here's the second night of auditions.
– “Cougar Town,” 8 and 8:30 p.m.,
ABC. It's not easy being Travis, Jules' college-age son. First, he's
pulled into the debate over who is sexier, Ellie or Laurie; then he's
writing his mom's wedding vows. Also in that first episode, Jules'
fiance moves in before the wedding, because of damage to his house.
– “NCIS” season-finale, 8 p.m.,
CBS. Chasing a skilled terrorist, the team tries to guess his next
target. This complicates Jimmy Palmer's wedding; Jamie Lee Curtis,
Scott Wolf and Richard Schiff guest.
– “NCIS: Los Angeles”
season-finale, 9-11 p.m., CBS. A fierce adversary, the Chameleon,
puts the team through a maze of mind games.
– “Fashion Star” finale, 10 p.m.,
NBC. Three designers remain, each with a career before fashion.
Nzmiro Oputa, 28, was an engineer; Kara Laricks, 38, was a 4th-grade
teacher; Ronnie Escalante, 32, was in the Navy. Some knew tight
times: Escalante grew up in th rural Philippines; Oputa grew up in
Detroit, where he learned fashion by adapting hand-me-downs from his
four older siblings.
– “Private Practice,” 10:01 p.m.,
ABC. The season ends amid the usual soap-style commotion. Pete's in
jail, Amelia's in labor (with a baby she doesn't want), Addison's in
