2) “Jaws@50,” 9-11 p.m., National Geographic Channel. At 27, Steven Spielberg made “Jaws” the hard way. He filmed almost everything on location. He brought only eight actors, hiring locals for the rest. He got rewrites, soaring100 days over schedule … and triumphed. This terrific documentary is a “SharkFest” centerpiece.

3) “Poker Face” season-finale, Peacock. This is a big time for the Peacock streamer. It has the “Jaws” films (and “Jaws@50”) and this delightful series. Trying to clear her friend’s name, Charlie rushes to find a former Mob boss, now in witness protection. Huge plot twists follow.

4) “Transplant,” 8 p.m., NBC. Last week, viewers were jolted when Mags — an intense doctor and Bash’s loved one — died when her heart-transplant failed. Now, in a quietly moving episode, Bash feels like an outsider at her funeral in Montreal.

5) “Superman: The Movie” (1978), 8 p.m. ET, Turner Classic Movies. On the eve of a new Superman film, here’s the original; it’s fairly good, with a terrific star (Christopher Reeve). He’s also in the gorgeous “Somewhere in Time” (1980) at 10:30 and the clever “Deathtrap” (1982) ar 12:30. Or catch the Reeve documentary, “Super/Man,” at 8 on HBO.
