These came out during Zoom press conferences today with the Television Critics Association. Details include:

CULINARY CUP: The show, created by Padma Lakshi (who hosts and is a judge), aims to be a best-of-the-best.
One contestant (Matt Peters) won a gold medal at Bocuse D’Or, the biennial chef competition. Another (Philip Tessier) was his coach and won silver.
Five others have won Michelin stars — Michael Diaz de Leon, Beverly Kim, Buddha Lo, Chris Morgan and Malyna Si.
One (Katie Burton) won the James Beard Award, seven others were nominated and one is in the Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame.

SURVIVOR: Leading into the 50th “Survivor,” CBS will rerun 10 episodes it considers classics.
All are at 8 p.m. weekdays, Feb. 9-13 and Feb. 16-20. The first seven are each an hour, the last three are 90 minutes.
The first hour, for instance, is from Season 16 and focuses on Cirie Fields. The third (Season 20) and fourth (23) include Benjamin “Coach” Wade”; the second (18) has both. And yes, they’ll both be “Survivor 50” contestants.

SOAP: Two soap worlds will blend in June.
By then, we’ll hear that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) of “Y&R” is a longtime friend of Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) of “BTG.” Now he’ll be the keynote speakder at a political fundraiser for Vernon’s grandson Martin.
Other Y&R actors showing up in the continuing story will be Peter Bergman, Susan Walters, Michael Mealor, Melissa Ordway and Bryton James.
