1) Grammy awards, 8-11:30 p.m. Trevor Noah hosts and Kendrick Lamar leads with nine nominations. Performers include Leon Thomas (shown here) and Sabrina Carpenter, each with six nominations. He’ll be part of a number that includes all the new-artist nominees; others are Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Sombr, Katseye and the Marias.
2) Pre- and post-Grammys. CBS will stick with “60 Minutes” at 7 p.m., so E has the build-up to itself. It has a Grammy preview at 4 p.m. ET, the re-carpet at 6 and an “after party” at 11:30.
3) “Miss Scarlet,” 8 p.m., PBS. This is a strong episode — Eliza probing a big-time gangster — that sets up an even better one next week. Tonight, it leads into good episodes of “All Creatures Great and Small” (Tristan warily meets his girlfriend’s rich father) and “Bookish” (the second half of a tale set amid post-war filmmaking).
4) Movies. At 8 p.m., BBC America has “A Few Good Men” (1992), merging two great talents — writer Aaron Sorkin and director Rob Reiner. At 7, CW has the original “Pirates of the Caribbean” (2003), with wonderfully daft work from Johnny Depp. Also, Freeform has the “National Treasure” films (2004) and 2007), at 5:10 and 8:20 p.m.
5) MORE: Oddly, two channels have 8 p.m. music shows, colliding with the Grammys. On ABC, it’s a rerun of Monday’s “American Idol” opener; on E. it’s “Dolly Parton: Here I Am.” Others go with sports — including AMC, with “Rise of the 49ers.” The football documentary is 9-11:18 p.m. today, then concludes Monday.
