2) More St. Patrick’s Day shows. TCM precedes that at 3:30 with “Young Cassidy,” set in the Irish rebellion of 1910. On the lighter side, Hallmark has two romances set in Ireland –“As Luck Would Have It” (2021) at 6 p.m. and “Love of the Irish” (2025) at 8. And, alas, Syfy fills the day with leprechaun horror films; they’re every hour, to 2 a.m.

3) Sports overlap. The World Baseball Classic is concluding, just as the college basketball tournament begins. For baseball, the championship game is 8 p.m. ET on Fox. For basketball, games are at 6:30 and 9 p.m. ET today and Wednesday on TruTV. They fill the final spots in a 64-team tourney that starts Thursday on CBS, TBS, TNT and TruTV.

4) “Will Trent,” 8 p.m., ABC. Will races to Puerto Rico, when he hears about the murder of a man with his uncle’s name. That’s followed by “High Potential” (the murder of a former astronaut) and “RJ Decker” (a tycoon’s son is missing).

5) ALSO: PBS stations have been in pledge-drive mode lately, but at 9 p.m. many will have a documentary movie about the barrier-bashing life of Bella Abzug. Also, some will have St. Patrick’s Day music, travel and even the morning parade from Dublin.
