2) “Happy’s Place,” 8 p.m., NBC. For two seasons, we’ve heard Gabby (Melissa Peterman) tell stories of her bad mother. Now we meet the mom (five-time Emmy-winner Jane Lynch). In a fairly good episode, Bobbie (Reba McEntire) eyes two towering women (5-foot-10 and 6-foot, respectively) who have opposite personalities.

3) Basketball. The second day of the men’s college tourney sprawls across CBS, TBS, TNT and TruTV. Closest match-ups? CBS has Kentucky (No. 7 in its region) and Santa Clara (10), at 12:15 p.m. ET. TNT has two 8-9 games — Villanova-Utah State, 4:10; Clemson-Iowa, 6:50. Then come 7-10 games: UCLA-Central Florida, 7:25, TBS; Miami-Missouri, 10:10, TruTV.

4) “Jury Duty: Company Retreat,” Amazon Prime. The original put actors around a real-life guy who thought he was on a jury; it drew beat-comedy Emmy nomination. Now this version tells someone his job starts with a retreat. It has three episodes today, with five more over the next two Fridays.

5) ALSO: Netflix has two new films — a “Peaky Blinders” sequel (with the Tommy Shelby character as a wartime spy) and a Red Hot Chili Peppers documentary focusing on its early guitaristy Hillel Slovak. For a different music genre, catch PBS at 9: Juliana Grigoryan, a young Armenian star, is Mimi in the Metropolitan Opera’s “La Boheme.”
