Best-bets for April 4: final-four, “SNL” and Moses

2) “Saturday Night Live,” 11:30 p.m., NBC. It will be Black-and-White Jacks tonight. Jack Black has his fifth time as host; Jack White is music guest for his fifth time (individually), plus one time in White Stripes. The season has another new episode next week (Colman Domingo hogts) and three in May.

3) “The Ten Commandments” (1956), 7-11:44 p.m., ABC. It’s the annual airing, with Charlton Heston as Moses. This won an Oscar for its special effects and was nominated for six more, including best-picture. Another biblical epic, “Barabbas” (1962), is 7:45 p.m. on Family Movie Classics.

4) More Easter-eve shows. History has its “The Bible” mini-series from 2 p.m. to midnight … Story TV has “Jesus: His Life” from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., repeating from 4 to midnight; on Sunday, it moves to History, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. … And at 8, Lifetime debuts “Rescued by Faith,” the true story of home-invasion survivors.

5) MORE: From 8-10 p.m., CW has the documentary movie “I Am Heath Ledger” (2017). Turner Classic Movies has big-scale Tony Curtis comedies, with “Some Like It Hot” and “The Great Race” at 8 and 10:15 p.m. ET. And two spots have Disney’s best cartoons — “Toy Story” ones from 3-11 p.m. on FX; “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Lion King,” 8 and 10, Freeform.
