2) “The Vampire Lestat” season-finale, 9 p.m., AMC. This has been a grand enigma — superbly written, acted and filmed, but with characters way too abrasive (and gore that’s way too extreme) for many viewers. Sam Reid has been dazzling as an 18th-century Frenchman turned modern rock star. Now, with the number of vampires multiplying, crises near.

3) “Grantchester,” 9 p.m., PBS. With just three episodes left in the 11th and final season of a terrific series, the focus is on Geordie, the cop, and his wife Cathy, an emerging fashion designer. Her big break collides with a murder case; also, he finds a web of extortion. That follows an OK (and complex) “Patience,” centering on lethal botany.

4) Movies. It seems to be Keanu Reeves night. His “Speed” (1994), with a smart script and taut action, is at 8:33 p.m. on ABC; “The Replacements” (2000), not nearly as well-regarded, is 7:30 on CW. Also, Sundance has two winners, with “Apollo 13” (1995) at 6 and “A Few Good Men” (1992) at 9.

5) MORE: At 8 p.m., catch a rerun of Wednesday’s “Nation’s Dumbest” opener; it’s a surprisingly clever show, sharply hosted by Jack Whitehall. At 9, CBS’ “Tracker” reruns a strong hour: One teen girl fled from the site of a mass murder; now Colter tries to find her.
