1) “Cupertino,” 10 p.m., CBS. The season’s best new, broadcast-network show starts with a great pairing (shown here): He’s a veteran lawyer, big, confident and imposing; she’s a first-year lawyer, a tad timid, from a deeply religious family. For different reasons, they’ve been fired by an evil firm. The result, from the “Elsbeth” producers, ripples with rage and fun.
2) “Eternally Yours” debut, 8:30 p.m., CBS. It’s nice to be with someone forever … until the centuries pile up. In modern Seattle, we meet vampires in a 500-plus-year marriage, with complications for their adopted daughter and her new boyfriend. It’s a fairly funny show, surrounded by the “Georgie & Mandy” and “Elsbeth” season-openers.
3) “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” season-opener, 9 p.m., NBC. Is it really consensual sex, if one person is drunk? That’s argued here, as the show starts its 28th season. Then “Law & Order” starts its 26th, with a case involving artificial intelligence.
4) “Grey’s Anatomy,” 10 p.m., ABC. A week before the season-opener, here’s a rerun of last season’s finale, filled with big jolts — including a bridge collapse. In case you missed it, we won’t spoil any surprises here, except to say two key characters leave the show, two others get engaged and some are in life-and-death crises.
5) “9-1-1” and “9-1-1: Nashville,” 8 and 9 p.m., ABC, Setting up next week’s openers, both rerun their season-finales. On “9-1-1,” Athena has been shot and the human-trafficking leader is determined to finish the job. On “9-1-1: Nashville,” a Noah Cyrus sound check goes bad.
