2) “Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story,” 8 p.m., Hallmark. Now for more sports, albeit fictional. In past years, Hallmark centered stories on the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills; now it’s the Chicago Bears. A reporter (Lyndsey Fonseca) covering a superfan (Marsha Mason, 84) soon falls for the lady’s grandson (Roberty Buckley).

3) “48 Hours,” 9-11 p.m., CBS. In a late change, CBS inserts a J.D. Vance town hall at 8 p.m., followed by these two true-crime stories, In one, an Iowa farmer was convicted of killing his wife; seven years later, his son, 21, says that was wrong and fights for a change. In the other, a 40-year cold case is solved by DNA from chewing gum.

4) “Super Scam Me,” 9-10:25 p.m., National Geographic, rerunning at 11:25. Under the title “Trafficked,” Mariana van Zellar has reported on lots of international schemes; examples rerun today from 4-9 p.m. and at 10:25. But now she tackles another scam — fake Internet romances.

5) “Poltergeist,” 7 p.m., BBC America. We’re two weeks from Halloween now and this movie fits neatly. It’s a slick Steven Spielberg production, creepy in a fun (not brutal) way. Also at 7: “Monsters, Inc.” on the Disney Channel and “Addams Family” on Freeform (with its sequel at 9:15).
