1) “Transplant” series-finale, 8 p.m., NBC. Over four strong seasons, we’ve seen Bash’s life transform. A surgeon for Syrian rebels, he moved to Toronto, finding work, friends and a lover (who recently died). Now there’s a gas leak at the hospital, alongside turning points for Theo and Bash (they’re shown here) and virtually everyone. As usual, it’s all done with subtlety and skill.
2) “Big Brother,” 8 p.m., CBS. After last week’s 90-minute opener, the show settles into its Thursday hour. That puts “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” at 9; tonight, it has a good episode, with Mandy’s brother falling for the young woman who works at the music store.
3) “Celebrity Family Feud,” 8 p.m., ABC. For the second half of summer, ABC has some non-rerun game shows. “Feud” (hosted by Steve Harvey) is followed by “Press Your Luck” (Elizabeth Banks). Next Wednesday has Martin Short with a “Match Game” reboot and Jimmy Kimmel with a celebrity “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?”
4) “Bob’s Burgers,” 8 p.m., Fox. Tina must face her fears, when she reaches the finals in the county free-throw competition. That starts a no-rerun cartoon night that includes an interdimensional rift on “Grimsburg,” at 8:30.
5) “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” Paramount +. The third season for this “Trek” prequel starts with Capt. Pike preparing to ram the Gorn destroyer. There’s another new episode tonight, followed by eight more weekly. Also streaming is Netflix’s six-part “Untamed,” a murder tale in Yosemite National Park. “The Summer I Turned Pretty” arrived Wednesday on Amazon Prime.
