2) “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” season-opener, 8 p.m., ABC. Two game-show hosts are contestants. First is Drew Carey, teamed with Aisha Tyler. Then Ken Jennings, who is a genius, teams with Matt Damon, who played one in “Good Will Hunting.” That should be fun, because Damon has long had a mock-feud with the show’s host, Jimmy Kimmel.

3) “Family Law” season-opener, 8 p.m., CW. Abby has troubles at home (her daughter wrote a “my mom’s alcoholism” sort of essay) and at work. Her dad (who’s her boss) and brother are spiraling from break-ups; now she represents a woman who rented a fake family and wants to give it her inheritance.

4) “Washington Black,” Hulu. For Sterling K. Brown, it’s been a big year for Hulu mini-series. He has an Emmy nomination for starring in “Paradise”; now he produces and has a small role here. This follows a boy who escaped slavery and uses his inventive mind for global adventures.

5) ALSO: At 9 p.m., PBS’ “Human Footprint” takes a smart look at damming up waterways, for good or greedy goals. At 10, CBS reruns a fairly good “Elsbeth,” involving a diamond scheme; Vanessa Williams is the guest star.
