1) “Bob’s Burgers” (shown here). It’s a busy night for “BB” fans: Five reruns on the Cartoon Network (6:30-9 p.m.) overlap with two new episodes on Fox. At 8 p.m., the kids play at a marine scrapyard, with dangerous results; at 8:30, the family tries kite-flying. A fun “The 1% Club” rerun follows at 9.
2) “Project Runway” opener, 9-11 p.m., Freeform. For its 21st season, this moves to its third network and brings back Heidi Klum to host. To set the mood, Freeform precedes it at 6 with “Cruella” (2021), a fairly good movie that won an Oscar for its gorgeous fashions. Then contestants try fashions inspired by Disney heroines and villains.
3) Football, 8 p.m. ET, NBC. The pre-season starts (in July??) with a game from the Hall of Fame site in Canton, Ohio. The Lions (15-2 last season) face the Chargers (11-6). The Hall ceremony will be 1 p.m. ET Saturday on the NFL Network.
4) “Revival,”10 p.m., Syfy. At a precise moment, we’re told, dead people revived in Wausau, Wis. This was fine for most of them — but not for the guy who was being cremated at the time. Now we hear his story, in an elaborate flashback that points to questions of who killed him and Rose and Em. Also,
the revived Em faces new crises, in an involving hour.
5) “AFI Life Achievement Award,” 8 p.m. and midnight ET, Turner Classic Movies. A half-century after his masterful “Godfather” films, Francis Ford Coppola, 86, finally gets the AFI award. TCM also has his “Apocalypse Now” at 9:15 and “The Rain People” at 3:15 a.m., plus documentaries about the awards (6 p.m.) and the making of “Apocalypse” (1:15 a.m.).
