1) “American Ninja Warrior,” 8-10 p.m., NBC. The multi-week finals begin. Over this month, we’ll see contestants racing side-by-side (shown here), in a bracket-style competition. That collides with another summer powerhouse, “Bachelor in Paradise,” from 8-10 on ABC.

2) “Survival Mode,” 10 p.m., NBC. In 2018, wildfires had stripped away much of California’s natural protection. Then torrential rains created a mudflow. This hour mixes old footage and new interviews with survivors in Montecito, an upscale town where 23 people were killed.

3) “The 1% Club,” 8 p.m., Fox. “Lego Masters” has finished its season and its junior edition is still two weeks away. Now Fox fills the gap with its summer star: This week, Joel McHale’s genial “1% Club” has reruns tonight and 9 p.m. Thursday, plus a fun new hour at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

4) Dramas. You can spend the whole night with “FBI.” There’s one rerun at 9 p.m. on CBS (followed by “Watson” at 10) and eight of them on Ion, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Also, the season-finale of “The Librarians: The Next Chapter” is 10 p.m. on TNT.

5) “Kiss Me Kate” (1953), 4 p.m. ET, Turner Classic Movies. It’s a marathon of Howard Keel musicals, from 11 a.m. to 5:45 a.m. That peaks, perhaps, with this clever Shakespeare take-off. Or at 10 p.m. with “Show Boat” (1951), which has a tough, racial-themed plot and William Warfield singing “Old Man River.”
