1) “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” 9 p.m., FX and FXX, repeating at 9:34 and 10:08 on FXX. With Frank (right) on “The Golden Bachelor,” the others (shown here in a previous episode) fret about his coming-home episode. They even rehearse for test audiences. The story has some hilarious moments, sags, then has a great closing twist.
2) “MasterChef,” 8 p.m., Fox. The six remaining duos meet a garden full of barbecue buffs; two duos then face off in a pressure test, eliminating one. That’s followed by another new Gordon Ramsay hour: In “Secret Service,” he tries to help a Philadelphia restaurant that offers a worldly cuisine.
3) Shirley MacLaine films, Turner Classic Movies. A marathon of films starring MacLaine, 91, covers great range. Her Oscar-winning work in a serious drama (“Terms of Endearment,” 1983, 8 p.m. ET) is followed by a Bob Fosse musical (“Sweet Charity,” 1969, 10:30). Comedies include Billy Wilder’s brash “Irma La Douce” (1963) at 1:45.
4) “Match Game,” 9 p.m., ABC. It’s the fourth new episode of this reboot, this time with Oscar-winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph plus Constance Zimmer, Caroline Rhea, Adam Pally, Beanie Feldstein and Joel Kim Booster. This will rerun Saturday, alongside the second and third hours.
5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., ABC’s “Who Want To Be a Millionaire” has Adam Devine and Anders Holm, followed by Helen Hunt and Dan Bucatinsky. Then come two fairly good mysteries. At 9, CW’s “Good Cop/Bad Cop” has both cops work a case, while their dad plans his fundraiser. At 10, CBS’ “Elsbeth” has Alan Ruck as twin finance guys.
