2) “Hispanic Heritage Awards,” 9 p.m., PBS. Rippling through this hour is great music, from a lush opening ballad by DannyLux to a rousing closing dance number from Dayme Arocena. In between are the awards, starting with an arts one for Cheech Marin, whose massive Chicano art collection now has its own museum in Riverside, Cal.

3) “Fire Country,” 9 p.m., CBS. We’re three weeks from the debut of “Sheriff Country,” centering on Bode’s aunt, Sheriff Mickey Fox. Here’s the episode that introduced her: She links with Bode to find who tried to murder her estranged father, a longtime drug-dealer.

4) “Blue Bloods,” 10 p.m., CBS. This reruns the 2021 season-opener, in which a high-profile shooting has led to an increase in crime. Also, Danny consults a psychic and his sister Erin re-opens a case in which her boss (the district attorney) was the key witness at age 13.

5) “Big Brother,” 8 p.m., CBS. This leads into Sunday’s finale. Also at 8: reruns of two season-openers — an excellent “Murder in a Small Town” (Fox) and a so-so “Brilliant Minds” (NBC). And ABC has the “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” season-opener, with “Dancing With the Stars” people: Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli and Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy.
