The season started with three new episodes, pauses for a rerun Oct. 25, then has another string of three new ones. Coming up (11:30 p.m. on NBC) are:
— Nov. 1: Miles Teller hosts, with Brandi Carlile as music guest. It’s the second turn for Teller, who also had a key spot on the “SNL50” special; for Carlile, an 11-time Grammy winner, it’s the third.
— Nov. 8: Glaser — a comedian who will be hosted the “Golden Globes” (shown here) and will do it again in January — hosts. Sombr (“Back to Friends”) is the music guest.
— Nov. 15: Powell hosts, the day after his “The Running Man” debuts; he’s on a hot streak, with “Anything But You” and “Twisters” in theaters and “Hit Man” and “Chad Powers” streaming. Dean, whose “The Art of Loving” album is No. 1 in five countries, is the music guest.
