Best-bets for Nov. 30: a big night for cartoons

1) Animation, 8-11 p.m., ABC. Here’s a rarity for a broadcast network — a three-hour burst of Christmas cartoons. First are two “Prep & Landing” tales, focusing on the guys in Santa’s elite advance team. Then comes a new one (shown here) at 9, seeing them panic when things go wrong. That’s followed by “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”

That’s followed by “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”

2) “The Simpsons,” 7:30 and 8 p.m., Fox. Then again, we can catch cartoons almost every Sunday on Fox. Tonight, a “Simpsons” rerun at 7:30 (Lisa turns trendy by wearing her mother’s “vintage” clothes) is followed by a new episode at 8, with Homer declared legally dead. It’s followed by “Universal Basic Guys,” “Krapopolis” and “Bob’s Burgers.”

3) “Tracker,” 8:30 p.m., CBS (but 8 p.m. on the West Coast). Colter helps a man search for his daughter, who vanished while on a courier route. Along the way, he comes across a rich family and its ruthless “fixer.”

4) “Savvy Sheldon Feels Good as Hell,” 8-10 p.m., CW. Amber Riley (“Glee”) plays someone with a job and a relationship thar are going nowhere, but with a kitchen filled with warm memories of her grandmother. In this film (one of six based on Harlequin novels), she wants to give her life a makeover.

5) MORE: Speaking of grandmas, consider June Squibb, who received an Oscar nomination at 84 (for “Nebraska”); at 96, she hosts “Killer Grannies,” at 8 p.m. on Oxygen. Also new is “Words + Music,” debuting at 9 p.m. (after “Robin Hood”) on MGM+. And families would like the “Home Alone” films (7 and 9:30 p.m., FX) or “Coco” (7:50 p.m., Freeform).
