1) “CMA Christmas,” 9:01 p.m., ABC. This hour has plenty of country stars — Jordan Davis, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Riley Green, Lady A and Little Big Town. But it also nudges elsewhere. There’s contemporary Christian singer Lauren Daigle (hosting with Davis), gospel’s Bebe Winans (shown here) and blues stars Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks.
2)”Dancing With the Holidays,” 8 p.m., ABC. It’s he first time the “Dancing With the Stars” people try a separate Christmas special. We can expect music, guest stars and, perhaps, lots of dancing.
3) “Murder in a Small Town” season-finale, 8 p.m., Fox. As Karl probes a murder, Cassandra spots a link to suspicious deaths in the past. That wraps up a season that has been surprisingly lethal — there are a lot of murders in this small town — but filled with deep characters and smart stories.
4) “TMZ’s Most Outrageous Moments of 2025,” 9 p.m., Fox. Don’t we still have another month to be outraged? Anyway, this hour borrows the timeslot, leaving “Doc” fans in limbo. Last week’s “Doc” saw Amy’s therapy sessions leaked, jolting everyone around her. We’ll have to wait for the mid-season return (Jan. 6) to see the aftershocks.
5) “NCIS: Sydney,” 10 p.m., CBS. A Naval officer is accused of murder, in a dispute over a treasure map. The team works the case … while trying to see if the map and the fabled treasure are real. That follows new “NCIS” and “NCIS: Origins” hours, in a week in which CBS sticks to its regular shows.
