1) “Christmas in Rockefeller Center,” 8-10 p.m., NBC. Now its NBC’s turn for holiday spectacle. This one is live, with the Rockettes, the tree-lighting and lots of music. That’s from Reba McEntire (who hosts), Halle Bailey (shown here in a previous concert), Gwen Stefani, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Michael Buble, Marc Anthony, New Edition and Kristin Chenowith.
2) “Christmas in Nashville,” 10 p.m., NBC. Here’s another hour of holiday music. The focus is on country, with Trisha Yearwood (who hosts), Trace Adkins, Lauren Alaina and The War and Treaty. But there’s also room for NE-YO and Bill Murray (yes, the movie star) with the Blood Brothers.
3) “Abbott Elementary,” 8:30 p.m., ABC. A new person joins Gregory’s Garden Goofballs; also Janine has a new idea for a club. That follows “Shifting Gears,” with Riley scrambling to preserve her family and career.
4) “99 to Beat,” 9 p.m., Fox. A week from its finale, this has trimmed from 100 contestants to its final 15 –including a priest, a barista, a pest exterminator and someone who portrays the yellow Power Ranger. That follows “The Floor,” which is two weeks from its finale.
5) ALSO: Some new Christmas movies start streaming today. In “My Secret Santa” (Netflix), Alexandra Breckenridge disguises as a ski-resort Santa Claus. In “Oh.What.Fun,” (Amazon Prime), Michelle Pfeiffer is a mon who’s had too much holiday stress.
