At 8, its American Athletic (North Texas-Tulane) on ABC, Mountain West (Boise State, shown here, and UNLV) on Fox.

2\) “Sheriff Country,” 8 p.m., CBS. Probing a brutal high school assault, Mickey finds secrets, lies and abuse of power. That’s followed by “Fire Country” (Sharon’s estranged mother arrives) and “Blue Bloods” (Lena’s intense pursuit of justice puts Danny in an unfamiliar role). For CBS, this wraps up a five-day stretch with no reruns or Christmas specials.

3) “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” 8 p.m., NBC. One day after airing “Grinch” and “Frosty the Snowman,” NBC follows with another of the Christmas perennials. That stretches to 9:15, pushing the other shows back.

4) “Stumble,” 9:45 p.m., NBC. After careening through other bits — money trouble at the gym, a visit to the candy-button factory — this focuses on one of its best characters: Peaches, the teen ex-convict. We see her soar (literally) and see her family roots. At times, the show becomes quite good.

5) “Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas,” 8 and 9 p.m., Hallmark. Over six hours on three Fridays, this comedy-drama has Mae Whitman cope with holiday matchmaking. Also debuting is “Spartacus: House of Asher,” at 9 on Starz. At 8 ET, Great American Family has the National Christmas Tree Lighting.
