2) Big Ten championship game, 8 p.m. ET, Fox. Here’s the sort of match-up football fans dream of — the nation’s two top-ranked teams, colliding prior to bowl season. Ohio State is ranked No. 1, something it’s accustomed to; Indiana is ranked second, which is definitely unfamiliar turf.

3) More conference championships. ABC has three in a row, peaking at 4 p.m. ET with Georgia (No. 3) and Alabama (No. 9), for the SEC title. Others are the Big 12, noon, with Texas Tech (No. 4) and Brigham Young (No. 11); and ACC, at 8, with Duke and Virginia (No. 17). Also, ESPN has the MAC (Miami of Ohio and Western Michigan) at noon.

4) Christmas shows. You can snuggle up and watch cartoons — “Reindeer in Here,” 8-9 p.m., CBS; and/or “Frosty” and “Rudolph,” 8:35 and 9:10 p.m. on Freeform. AMC has daytime cartoons, before airing “Polar Express” and “The Wizard of Oz” at 5 and 7. And movies abound, including Lacey Chabert deciding who makes Santa’s nice list, at 8 on Hallmark.

5) Bond-a-thon, MGM+. Here’s a sampling of five James Bonds. The first three Sean Connery films, each superb, are at 8, 9:50 and 11:45 a.m. Then it’s Roger Moore (1:35 and 3:40 p.m.), Timothy Dalton (5:45), Pierce Brosnan (8 and 10) and Daniel Craig at 12:10 a.m.
