1) “Chicago P.D.” season-finale, 10 p.m. NBC. The season began by adding a potent character: Arienne Mandi (shown here) is an American actress who has Chilean and Iranian roots and speaks four languages. She plays Eva Imani, who worked for a private military company, speaks Farsi and was fiercely convincing doing undercover work. Now she confronts her past.
2) “Chicago Med” and “Chicago Fire” season-finales, 8 and 9 p.m., NBC. First, Hannah faces one of the most difficult deliveries of her career. Then Sevaride and Kidd are surprised by a welcome visitor.
3) “America’s Culinary Cup” finale, 9:30-11 p.m., CBS. We’re down to the final three: Matt Peters, the only American to win the top prize at the biennial Bocuse d’Or competition … Chris Morgan, who has a Michelin-star restaurant … and Cara Stadler, who staretd a restaurant after working in France and China. Now one will be the show’s first champion.
4) “Shared Planet,” 10 p.m., PBS. As palm-oil plantations took over Borneo jungles, orangutans lost their homes. The solution was to build native-tree corridors through the plantation. This interesting hour shows that and other forest solutions. We see efforts to support the scarlet macaws in Guatemala and the lemurs in Masagascar.
5) More: With the World Cup getting closer, the four “MasterChef” teams
are challenged to do better versions of classic stadium food. That’s 8 p.m. on Fox. Also at 8, CBS’ “Survivor” sets up next week’s finale, when it has its 50th winner. And PBS’ Nature” reruns a terrific, 2019 film about the remains of a 200-million-year-old “sea dragon” (ichthyosaur).
