1) “Forever Young: A Grammy Salute to Rod Stewart,” 8-10 p.m., CBS. At 81, Sir Roderick Stewart (shown here) is still going strong. He’s sold 120 million records, including three No. 1’s — “Maggie May,” “Tonight’s the Night” and –48 years ago — “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy.” Here he is in concert, in Miami.
2) “America’s Got Talent” and “Password,” 8 and 10 p.m., NBC. The summer TV shows are looming now. These two don’t start their new seasons until June 2, but they offer reruns here: “AGT” has its “Greatest Golden Buzzers” special; “Password” has an hour with Heidi Klum.
3) “American Masters,” 9 p.m., PBS. In his 95 years, W.E.B. Du Bois was many things — a scholar (including a Harvard doctorate), a founding force with the NAACP and, increasingly, an activist. In this documentary, three men (Common, Jeffrey Wright and Courtney Vance) speak his words on-camera. There’s a quiet beauty, plus wrenching pain.
4) Basketball, 8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN, with pre-game at 8. It’s time for the best-of-seven conference championships to begin. Plans call for the Eastern Conference today and Thursday, then moving to ABC on Saturday; the Western Conference continues Wednesday on NBC and Peacock.
5) “Bear Grylls is Running Wild,” 9 p.m., Fox. Once a small-town Iowa kid, Michelle Monaghan has done big-screen adventures. In three “Mission Impossible” films, she was Dr. Julia Meade, the wife and ex-wife of Tom Cruise’s character; she also appeared, via flashbacks, in the most-recent one. Now she and Grylls trek the Great Basin Desert.
