2) More music, 8-10 p.m. and 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Fox. Steve Harvey is also in Times Square, with Maria Menounous and Rob Gronkowski. They have music from LL Cool J (with DJ Z-Trip), Florida Georgia Line, Chainsmokers, Lumineers, Backstreet Boys, Tyga and the Killers and the new “Masked Singer” champion, Wayne Brady. There will also be gimmicks – a WWE wrestling match and the Village People trying to set the record for most people doing “YMCA.”

3) And more, 8-11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., NBC. The first two hours – looking back at the year in pop culture – are hosted by Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. Then Carson Daly takes over at 10, with two of his “Voice” colleagues, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Other performers include Bret Eldridge, Ne-Yo, Julianne Hough (who co-hosts with Stephen “tWitch” Boss) and Leslie Odom Jr.

4) Other Eve specials. PBS has its annual Eve concert by the New York Philharmonic. This one is a Sondheim celebration at 8 p.m., rerunning at 9:30. And CNN has a marathon: At 7 p.m. ET, Tom Foreman has the best and worst of 2019; at 8, Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen take over. At 12:30 a.m. ET, Brooke Baldwin and Don Lemon host from Nashville. Parts of that rerun from 1:30 to 4 a.m.

5) “Schitt’s Creek” marathon, noon, Pop. It’s been a fine year for this clever Canadian show, with best-comedy-series nominations from the Emmys and the Television Critics Association. Today – a week before the final season begins – we can catch the previous five. That continues to 11 p.m. Wednesday.
