2) “Christmas at Rockefeller Center,” 8-10 p.m., NBC. And this is the opposite of new. It’s the 91st year for the tree-lighting; NBC – based at the Center – has been using that for a music special since 1990. This time, Kelly Clarkson hosts and performs. Cher sings solo and with Darlene Love. Other pairings have Adam Blackstone and Keke Palmer, Liz Gillies and Seth MacFarlane, David Foster and Katharine McPhee. Also singing: Barry Manilow, Carly Pearce, more.

3) “The Artful Dodger” debut, Hulu. It’s a boom time for Hulu: Two beautifully crafted shows (“Fargo” and “A Murder at the Top of the World”) arrived last week; now comes an interesting one. Oliver Twist’s colleague, we’re told, escaped from prison and fled to Australia, where he’s a doctor. It’s hard to like him after he blows a fortune on poker, but the story perks up when we meet cynical Fagin (David Thewlis) and idealistic Belle (Maia Mitchell).

4) “The Masked Singer,” 8 p.m., Fox. Ready or not, this is Disco Night. The Trammps – whose “Disco Inferno” was in “Saturday Night Fever,” 46 years ago — will perform. After pausing last week, this show and “Snake Oil” are back to new episodes. They collide with CBS’ “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race,” at 8 and 9:30.

5) Animated movies, Freeform. On Friday, this cable channel drops everything else for its annual “25 Days of Christmas.” First, it wraps up November with some Disney gems – “Coco” (2017) and “Encanto” (2020), at 6:20 and 8:50 p.m. today, then “Little Mermaid” (1989) and “Moana” (2016), at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
