2) More sports. The World Figure Skating Championship has its pairs finals at 8 p.m. on USA and basketball is everywhere. The women’s tourney has early-round games for the final spots; that’s 7 p.m. (Arizona-Auburn) and 9 p.m. (Holy Cross and Tennessee-Martin) on ESPN2. Also, ESPN+ has two competing women’s invitational tourneys.

3) “Next Level Chef,” 8 p.m., Fox. It’s probably been a while since you had a lamb’s tongue pizza or a chicken nugget pizza. Both are created tonight, in an hour that is fast, frantic (with maybe the scariest dancing chef ever) and fun. In a late change, that will be followed at 9 by a “TMZ Investigates” hour, viewing Kate Middleton’s disappearance from public and the fuss over her photoshop try.

4) “9-1-1,” 8 p.m., ABC. Viewers may or may not forgive ABC’s deception. Last week’s promos suggested a sinking ship and big adventure. None of that happened; at the end, a note said this was the start of a three-parter. Tonight, that’s followed by “Grey’s Anatomy,” with the interns barred from surgery until they do basic procedures.

5) “Diarra From Detroit,” BET+. There are bigger shows that start streaming today, led by Amazon Prime’s “Road House” remake and Netflix’s “3 Body Problem.” But Diarra Kilpatrick, the writer and star, gives this drama-comedy a neatly ragged, indie-movie quality. In the opener, which debuted on cable, she was jilted and suspected foul play. Now three more episodes plunge ahead.
