1) Basketball, 6:09 p.m. ET, TBS, TNT and TruTV. The college tournament has its final four teams now. Two were expected — Purdue and Connecticut, each seeded No. 1 in its quadrant. The others provide underdogs: North Carolina State (shown here), No. 11 in its quadrant, faces Purdue; then Alabama, No. 4, faces Connecticut. The winners collide Monday.
2) “Saturday Night Live,” 11:29 p.m., NBC. The next couple weeks could bring huge audiences. Next week, Ryan Gosling hosts; tonight is Kristen Wiig. In seven “SNL” years, she became the show’s star. She left in 2012, but this is her fourth return as host. She also stars in the glittery “Palm Royale,” Wednesdays on Apple TV+; Raye is tonight’s music guest.
3) More sports. While college basketball seizes our attention, there are plenty of other sports. It’s the second week of the new United Football League, combining two spring leagues; today has San Antonio-Memphis at noon ET on ESPN and Arlington-St. Louis at 8 on ABC. ABC also has hockey at 1 and 3:30; Fox has soccer at 7:30 p.m. and Fox Sports1 has baseball (Dodgers-Cubs) at 4:05.
4) “Tracker,” 8 p.m., CBS. In a rerun, a teenager wants Colter to find a witness who might help clear her father, who was convicted of murder. That’s followed by an “Equalizer” rerun, with a young girl killed via an illegal street race.
5) Movies. At 8 p.m., CW reruns “I Am Paul Walker” (profiling the “Fast and Furious” star), HBO has the brilliant “Social Network” (2010) and MGM+ has the fun “Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” (2023). Also, the Paramount Network has the “Raiders of the Lost Ark” trilogy at noon, 2:30 and 5, repeating at 7 :30, 10 and 12:30.
