2) “NCIS” shows, 8-11 p.m., CBS. Last week, networks obsessed on the elections. Now the regular Tuesday shows return, including basketball on NBC and all three “NCIS” shows. That starts with an 8-year-old who’s hiding in her apartment, while her Marine mom is missing.

3) “Dancing With the Stars,” 8-10 p.m., ABC and Disney+. After sliding to Monday last week, this returns to its regular spot for a night of dancing to Grammy-nominated songs. That’s followed by an hour in which Michael Strahan interviews fashion icons, including Tommy Hilfiger and Heidi Klum.

4) “Best Medicine,” 8 p.m., Fox. It’s time for the town’s Revolutionary War re-enactment … which, like everything else in Port Wenn, is done with an excess of enthusiasm. Soon, Dr. Best notices odd symptoms on the battlefield. And Al — a zestful warrior — worries that his departure (with Elaine) will leave his dad feeling lonely.

5) MOVIES: Three animated gems — “The Lion King,” “The Little Mermaid” and “Beauty and the Beast” — are at 5, 7 and 9 p.m. on Freeform. And on the eve of Veterans Day, Turner Classic Movies has the superb “From Here to Eternity.” It won eight Academy Awards, including best picture and (in supporting roles) ones for Donna Reed and Frank Sinatra.
