2) “Bachelor in Paradise” finale, 8-10 p.m., ABC. Usually airing Mondays, this was delayed to avoid the holiday. Now it’s in an 8 p.m. slot full of non-fiction. There NBC’s “Talent,” Fox’s delightful “The 1% Club” and PBS’ “American Experience,” with a rerun of a three-hour Richard Nixon profile.

3) “Alien: Earth,” 8 p.m., FX; also 9:32, 11:04, 12:36. This juggles opposite pieces — a warm story of children’s minds in synthetic bodies, a cold one of outer-space creatures, brought to Earth. Those pieces merged potently in last week’s final minute … but now? The entire episode is a flashback to the space ship; it’s brilliantly crafted, but cold, creepy and brutal.

4) “NCIS, 8 p.m.; and “NCIS: Origins,” 9 and 10, CBS. These hours blend together neatly. First, we see Gibbs’ final case at the now-modern NCIS. Then we flash back to his first days at a quite-primitive NIS. A tough, two-part story is peppered with some humor and lots of intriguing characters.

5) “TMZ Presents: The War Over OnlyFans,” 9 p.m., Fox. Last week, an OnlyFans model was a “Snake” finalist. Now that timeslot goes to this look at the site, which is open to non-porn spots (we hear from rapper Blac Chyna and model Amber Rose) and others. We see Joe Gow, whose explicit videos led to his being fired from his job as a college chancellor.
