1) “The Groomsmen: First Look” (shown here), 8-10 p.m., Hallmark. Here’s the start of an ambitious trilogy that helped launch the Hallmark+ streamer last year. Pete, a pediatrician, meets Chelsea, a doctor. She lives overseas, so they don’t feel this could work. His friends, Danny and Jackson; disagree; over the next two Saturdays, they’ll have their own romance movies.
2) “FBI: International,” 9 p.m., CBS. In a rerun from January, things go badly in Paris, during a search for Greg Csonka. Now one team member is missing and Vo is fighting for her life, after being shot. “FBI: Most Wanted: follows.
3) Football, 7:30 p.m. ET, ABC. The second week of the college season has lots of mismatches and only one collision of nationally ranked teams. That’s this one, with Michigan (No. 15) at Oklahoma (No. 18).
4) Animated movies, cable. “The Peanuts Movie” (2015) is 7 p.m. on the Disney Channel, alongside a cartoon flurry on Freeform. That includes three Chipmunks movies (9 and 11 a.m., 1:05 p.m.), two “Wreck-It Ralph” ones (3:30 and 5:15) and three “Hotel Transylvania” ones (7:50, 9:55, midnight).
5) ALSO: There are plenty of other movies, including some terrific ones. “Top Gun: Maverick” is 7 p.m. on MTV, “Ocean’s 8” is at 8 on TBS and Mel Brooks’ clever “Blazing Saddles” is 8 p.m. ET on Turner Classic Movies. And at 9 ET, CNN has the season-opener of “Have I Got News For You,” a comedy game show, built around news events.
