2) “The Morning Show” season-opener, Apple TV+. This series offers big stars (led by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon), lush visuals and high-stakes stories. Now we jump ahead two years: The networks have merged; crises involve AI, deep fakes and a possible environmental disaster.

3) “Family Law,” 8 and 9 p.m., CW. The fourth season concludes for this Canadian drama, with a fifth still uncertain. In the first hour, Abby represents her half-sister in court, while their half-brother works a custody case. In the second, all three ponder life away from the firm run by their father — who’s currently working a tough case for an ex-convict.

4) “Big Brother,” 8-10 p.m., CBS. Getting close to its Sept. 28 finale, this is loading up. There are two-hour editions today and Thursday, an “Unlocked” hour Friday and then an hour nudged back to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Tonight, the 10 p.m. slot goes to a fairly good “Elsbeth,” with Mary-Louise Parker as a “de-cluttering” advisor with a cluttered love life.

5) MORE: With their new season two weeks away, ABC’s comedies take return to Wednesdays; there are reruns of “Shifting Gears” at 8 and 8:30 and “Abbott Elementary” at 9 and 9:30. Also: NBC has the “America’s Got Talent” results (8 p.m); Amazon Prime has the “Gen V” season-opener.
