1) “DMV” debut, 8:30 p.m., CBS. In the “Superstore” style, it’s a workplace comedy that finds fun little bits with the patrons and longer stories with the staff. Since this is the Department of Motor Vehicles, the patrons are far-ranging — an entitled jerk, a scary driver, a clueless oldster. The likable staff is led by Harriet Dyer and (shown here, center) Tim Meadows.
2) Season-openers, CBS. “The Neighborhood” (8 p.m.) has turning points for both families, including Tina’s new passion and Dave’s tech experiment. “FBI” (9) finds a secluded island where authority has crumbled. And “Watson” (10) learns that Sherlock Holmes, presumed dead, is alive.
3) “TV We Love” debut, 8 p.m. today, CW. TV was still primitive in 1951, when “I Love Lucy” changed everything. It perfected the concept of filming with a studio audience; it also had Lucille Ball’s sight-gag brilliance. This hour goes overboard, with endless praise (some of it well-deserved) for Ball and Desi Arnaz. But it has enough great clips to keep us entertained.
4) Double Jane Krakowski. At 8 p.m., she has her usual lightweight duty, hosting Fox’s “Name That Tune.” At 10, she does good work in a dead-serious role in NBC’s “Brilliant Minds.” Krakowski plays a business mogul chained to a conservatorship. At the beginning and end of the hour are key flashforwards, showing Dr. Wolf’s jeopardy.
5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., NBC’s “The Voice” continues auditions. At 9, Fox’s “Celebrity Weakest Link” assembles some of the mid-level stars who played teens on TV. That includes two each from “7th Heaven,” “Friday Night Lights” and “90210,” plus one from “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”
