1) “Everybody Loves Raymond” reunion, 8-9:30 p.m. today, CBS. It’s time to celebrate one of TV’s great shows. Over its nine seasons, “Raymond” drew seven best-comedy Emmy nominations, winning twice. Now its 30th anniversary will be celebrated with clips, tributes to the late Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle, and a reunion of the other stars, including Ray Romano and Brad Garrett. They’re shown here, with the latter overshadowed, as usual.
2) “TV We Love,” 9-10 p.m. today, CW. In an odd overlap, this views “Cheers” at the same time CBS does “Everybody Loves Raymond.” Both were gimmick-free comedies, with great characters and dialog. “Cheers” was Emmy-nominated for best comedy in each of its 11 years, winning four times. It spent seven years in Nielsen’s top-5, one at No. 1.
3) “DMV,” 9:30 p.m., CBS. Amid all the talk of great, old comedies, we should also catch this good, new one. Tonight, Barb takes a field trip to a competing Department of Motor Vehicles branch … and envies the charismatic manager, played by Randall Park.
4) “Brilliant Minds,” 10 p.m. today, NBC. Eric Dane, the former “Grey’s Anatomy” star, has been struggling with ALS for 18-plus months. Partially paralyzed, he gives a quietly moving performance as a former firefighter, trying to shield his family from agony. It’s an excellent hour, with continuing stories about Dr. Wolf and about a favorite patient.
5) “A More Perfect Union: Restoring Civic and Civil Conversations Across America,” 9 p.m., PBS. Do people have civil conversations these days? Fresh from his super “American Revolution” mini-series, Ken Burns and others talk. That’s followed by a film about returning buffalo to Blackfoot land.
ALSO: “Harry Wild” usually sticks to amiable, hourlong tales. But now it has a movie-length speciual, with Harry (Jane Seymour) and family visiing a wwdding … where, of course, there’s a murder. The result, streaming at www.acorn.tv, is ambitious visually, but eventually strains its believability.
