1) “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas,” 8-10 p.m., Hallmark. One day after the Opry has its 100th-birthday event, here’s a film celebrating past and present. Gentry is whisked back 30 years, to when her late father was an opry star. There’s lots of music, plus old and new Opry people, from Bill Anderson and Pam Tillis to Brad Paisley (shown here) and Mickey Guyton.
2) More Christmas movies. Hallmark also has a new one at 6 p.m., “An Alpine Holiday.” Lifetime has familiar stars — Brandy Norwood and Debbi Morgan in “Christmas Everyday” at 8 p.m.; Vivica A. Fox and Jackee Harry in “The Christmas Campaign” at 10:03. Both have lots of past movies, as do UpTV, Great American Family and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
3) Football, 6:30 p.m. ET, CW. Here’s what people jokingly call the “Pac-12 championship.” The conference only has two teams, with six more arriving next year. Earlier, Oregon State edged Washington State at home, 10-7; now they meet in Washington. Oregon State is 2-9 this year, but Washington State is 5-6, with a shot at its fourth bowl game in five years.
4) More football. The last week of the regular season brings traditional rivalries. That includes Ohio State-Michigan at noon ET on Fox and UCLA-Southern California at 4:30 on NBC. At 7:30, ABC has Alabama-Auburn and Fox has Northwestern-Illinois.
5) ALSO: CBS has reruns of “NCIS: Origins” (Franks’ troubled brother arrives) at 8 p.m. and “Boston Blue” (linking with Lena’s ex-partner on a tough drug case) at 9. At 8, TNT starts showing “Christmas Vacation” every two hours, for 24 hours; TBS will do the same with “Elf” on Sunday.
