Best-bets for Dec. 17: two finales, plus pop stars

1) “Survivor” finale, 8-11 p.m., CBS. After last week’s scrambling (shown here), five survivors remain. There’s Rizo Velovic, 25, in tech sales; Sophie Balardi, 27, entrepreneur; Sage Ahrens-Nichols, 30, clinical social worker; Savannah Louie, 31, former reporter; and Kristina Mills, 36, career counselor. 2) “The Floor” finale, 8-10 p.m., Fox. The night starts with 16 people, a few of them still holding their original categories. We soon have some tight, quick-based rounds, a few absurd mismatches and one seeming impossible question. To the end, this game remains flawed, but interesting.

3) “iHeartRadio Jingle Ball,” 8-10 p.m., ABC. Here’s a Christmas concert stuffed with current pop stars. It’s culled from a mini-tour that included Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll, Olivia Dean, Nelly, Renee Rapp. Alex Warren, Conan Gray, Jessie Murph, Laufey, mgk, Myles Smith, Ravyn Lenae, Zara Larsson, Kid Laroi, Shinedown, BigXthaPlug and Monsta X.

4) Football, ESPN. The first weekday doubleheader of the bowl season has Old Dominion and South Florida at 5 p.m. ET, then Louisiana and Delaware at 8:30. Friday will bring another doubleheader … plus the start of the 12-team championship playoffs.

5) ALSO: NBC has reruns — “Shrek the Halls” at 8, a holiday episode of last season’s “Happy’s Place” at 8:30 and Trisha Yearwood hosting “Christmas in Nashville” at 9. At 10 is an hour-long version of a pop-culture year in review; a 45-minute version ran previously. And Turner Classic Movies starts a Jane Austen marathon with “Emma” and “Sense and Sensibility” at 6 and 8 ET.
