Also, comments by Carlos Santana, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Rita Moreno and others.
2) Christmas Day commotion, Thursday, ABC. The Disney parks’ parade will be 10 a.m. ET … but 5 a.m. PT, to make a basketball blitz. Games are at noon ET, and 2:30 p.m., 5 (Mavericks-Warriors), 8 (Rockets-Lakers) and 10:30. At 8 p.m. is a second “Everybody Loves Raymond” reunion; at 10 is a holiday “Hollywood Squares.”
5) “Kennedy Center Honors,” 8-10:30 p.m. Tuesday,, CBS. Once one of TV’s best shows, this has become politicized, with Trump-approved honorees (George Strait, Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Gaynor, Michael Crawford, KISS) and some mid-level performers. Still, there are also stars of country (Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn) and gospel.
6) “A Christmas Story” (1983) marathon, 8 p.m. Wednesday, TBS, 9 p.m., TNT. This gem reruns every two hours, for 24 hours. Also at 8, PBS reruns a superb Tabernacle Choir concert; at 11:35, NBC visits Mass at the Vatican.
7) “Call the Midwife Holiday Special,” 8 p.m. Thursday, PBS, rerunning at 10. Most years, this offers a gentle Christmas-night pleasure. This time, however, there’s a Hong Kong adventure (complete with gun-toting thugs) plus the at-home celebration; things leap wildly between continents. The scenes are absurdly short, but by the end this is sort of OK.

Now these folks must merge with a rival precinct; Frank (Joel McHale) and others fume. The show gets a post-football launch for its season; then it waits until Jan. 15 for its regular spot.
