1) “American Music Awards,” 8-11 p.m. ET, CBS. Queen Latifah hosts a night stuffed with music. Performing will be Karol G (shown here) and Billy Idol (both getting special honors), country’s Keith Urban and Riley Green and more, including Teddy Swims, Teyana Taylor, Sombr, Twenty One Pilots, Katseye, Pussycat Dolls, BTS, New Kids on the Block and Hootie & The Blowfish.
2) Memorial Day films. Two Tom Hanks productions overlap. The superb mini-series “Band of Brothers” reruns on AMC, from 11 a.m. to 1:19 a.m.; “World War II,” a documentary, debuts the first three (of 20) hours, from 8-11:05 p.m. on History. Also, there are military movie marathons on both Turner Classic Movies and Family Movie Classics.
3) “Sullivan’s Crossing,” 8 p.m., CW. This year, the show added Ben, an earnest young guy trying to take care of his little sister. Now they’re missing and Cal is searching; Maggie helps, while resolving her feelings for Liam.
4) “The 1% Club,” 8 p.m., Fox. This fun show has Joel McHale presiding over clever quizzes and 100 contestants. Tonight, that includes a father-daughter duo, aspiring food truck and ice cream shop owners and enthusiasts of crochet and of “Where’s Waldo?”
5) Hockey. The last Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup was Montreal, back in 1993. Now those Canadiens host the Carolina Hurricanes, at 8 p.m. ET on TNT, TruTV and HBO Max. It’s Game 3 of a best-of-seven series, for a spot in the finals. Meanwhile, basketball has the Knicks and Cavs, at 8 p.m. on ESPN; it’s Game 4 of best-of-seven, also for a finals spot.
