1) “America’s Got Talent” finals, 10 p.m., NBC. The 10 finalists get one more chance to get votes; on Wednesday (9-11 p.m.), one will become champion. There are only two music acts, ages 14 and 16, plus four dance acts — including dogs, robots (shown here) and light-up dancers. There’s another dog act, two magic acts and an aerialist. “The Voice” auditions precede this at 8.
2) “New York: A Documentary Film” conclusion, 9-11 p.m., PBS. After stopping its crime surge and brightening Manhattan, New York was hit by outside forces — the 9/11 attacks, a Wall Street collapse, Superstorm Sandy and then the pandemic. Each time, the city overcame steep obstacles. Ric Burns’ film tells the story brilliantly.
3) “Dancing With the Stars,” 8-10 p.m., ABC. Dancers will be moving to songs that became big Internet hits. That includes ones from Rihanna, Teddy Swims, Katseye, Billie Eilish and more. That’s followed by “R.J. Decker,” with a missing man and a dangerous stranger in a pick-up truck.
4) “Judge Judy: Unfiltered, Unforgettable,” 8-9:30 p.m., CBS. At 83, Judy Sheindlin keeps filling our TVs. Daytime has 25 years of “Judge Judy” reruns, plus new shows she producers — “Hot Justice” and her son’s “Adam’s Law”‘; Amazon Prime has “Judy Justice.” Here’s a profile.
5) “Best Medicine,” 8 p.m., Fox. Here’s a quick rerun of the season-opener — a terrific one — that had a post-football debut Sunday. A mermaid (sort of) nudges townsfolk into admitting their own flaws and quirks, which are abundant. That’s followed by the “Doc” season-opener, adding a doctor (Blair Underwood) we met at the end of last season.
