2) More finales, 8 p.m. Wednesday. Two networks each wrap up their biggest reality show. For CBS, “Survivor” is down to its final five; the three-hour finale will include a million-dollar winner and a reunion. For Fox, “The Masked Singer” has a two-hour finale for its final four. So far, it has dumped some music pros (Ginuwine, Ashley Parker Angel, etc.), some true stars (Billie Jean King, Anthony Anderson) and a bunch of reality-show folks.

3) “Extended Family” debut, about 8:05 p.m. Saturday, NBC. For one night, the post-strike TV season begins. “Extended” is a fairly funny show that has Jon Cryer navigate a life with his ex-wife (Abigail Spencer), their two kids and her boyfriend (Donald Faison). That’s followed by a new episode of “Night Court.” Those are NBC’s only comedies, and will get their Tuesday spots on Jan. 2. These openers will be followed by “Saturday Night Live” reruns.

4) Christmas Eve lite, Sunday. On Christmas Eve, the trick is to keep excited kids (and grown-ups) happy before Santa arrives. You could spend all day on Freeform, including “Rudolph” at 5:35 p.,m.,, “Frosty” at 6:40 and the “Santa Clause” trilogy at 7:15 … Or try NBC’s “It’s A Wonderful Life” at 8 … Or catch “A Christmas Story” every two hours, for 24 hours; that starts at 8 p.m. on TBS and 9 p.m. on TNT (after “The Wizard of Oz,” at 6:45)

5) Christmas Eve sacred. Then there’s the serious side of the holiday. “The Chosen” (a crowd-funded series about Jesus and the people around him) has its season-finale from 8-10 p.m. Sunday on CW. (It also has Christmas episodes from 8-10 p.m. Saturday on CW and 1 p.m. ET Sunday on BYU-TV. At 11:30 p.m., Sunday, NBC has Mass from St. Peter’s Basilica. BYU-TV blends sacred and secular music and shows all day, including Tabernacle Choir reruns.

6) “A Murder at the End of the World” finale, Tuesday, Hulu. The plot seems as old and familiar as an Agatha Christie tale: Strangers are at the home of a wealthy eccentric … there are murders … the killer is in the room and the police can’t get there yet. Still, this also seems new A tech billionaire (Clive Owen) has built a superstructure in Iceland; a young genius (superbly played by Emma Corrin) must solve a mystery that few people could crack.

7) “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” opener, Wednesday, Disney+. On the day after one great streaming show ends, another debuts. Walker Scobell – just 13 when filming started – is perfect as a lonely teen, unaware of his lineage. Suddenly, he’s in a world of epic monsters and challenges. It’s all a bit bizarre … and there’s humor in Percy’s skepticism. This has some of the flaws of a road film … and all of the joy of a grand human adventure.

8) “The iHeart Radio Jingle Ball,” 8-10 p.m. Thursday, ABC. Each year, pop stars have a holiday-music tour. This year’s 11-city tour had Olivia Rodrigo, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Niall Horan, Cher, SZA, Miguel, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, AJR, Flo Rida, OneRepublic and more. The result is in a crowded, 8np.m. slot, facig two new movies –”The Christmas Break” on Fox and “Miracle in Bethlehem, PA” on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

9) “Dick Van Dyke 98 Years of Magic,” 9-11 p.m. Thursday, CBS. After blowing a chance for a Carol Burnett special, CBS jumps in – a 90th birthday special for Willie Nelson on Dec. 17 and now a 98th for Van Dyke. Nelson’s was almost eight months after his real birthday; Van Dyke’s is only eight days after his. This includes classic numbers from his musicals (including “Mary Poppins”) and TV specials; some are old clips, others have modern stars.

10) “A Home For the Holidays,” 8 p.m. Friday, CBS. It’s the 25th year for this special, with seasonal songs and warm profiles of adoptions. Katharine McPhee hosts and sings with her husband, David Foster; also performing are Pentatonix, Gavin DeGraw, CeCe Winans and Lauren Daigle. That wraps a week that has holiday editions of “Lego Masters” (8-10 p.m. today and Tuesday, Fox) and “Big Brother” (9 p.m. today and Tuesday, 8 p.m. Thursday, CBS).
