2) More New Year’s Eve. CBS will be in Nashville from 7:30 to 10 p.m. and 10:30 to 1:05. Lots of country’s stars will perform there – Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilsno, Morgan Wallen, Carly Pearce, Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown, Trace Adkins, etc. – plus Dustin Lynch in Times Square. And CNN will have Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen in New York at 8 p.m. ET, followed by Sara Sidner and Cari Champion in Austin,, from 12:30 to 2:05 a.m.

3) “Next at the Kennedy Center,” 8 p.m., PBS, repeating at 9. On Wednesday, CBS’ “Kennedy Center Honors” included a spectacular sogng by Cynthia Erivo. Now she heads her own special, in a night of Tony-winners – Erivo, 36, for “The Color Purple,” Ben Platt, 30, for “Dear Even Hansen”; and Joaquina Kalukango, 34, for “Paradise Square.”

4) “Yellowstone,” 7 a.m. to miidnight, Paramount Network. Yes, CBS is on a break from its Sunday “Yellowstone” reruns, but Paramount – which aired the show first – fills the gap. These episoders start midway in the third season and wrap up the fourth; there’s more on Monday. And the same talented writer/producer (Tyler Sheridan) has a new episode of “Mayor of Kingstown” at 8 p.m. on Showtime.

5) ALSO: Two of the networks that sometimes have New Year’s Eve specials are skipping it this year. NBC has its Sunday-night football (Packers-Vikings) and Fox has cartoons CW has two reruns – an inept one about Scooby-Doo at 7 p.m. and then “Christmas With the Chosen,” from 8-10 p.m. The latter has seven music numbers (including Andrea and Matteo Bocelli) and two monologs, plus performances from two previous specials.
