2) “So Help Me Todd,” 8 p.m., CBS. Here’s a rerun of the season-opener, with a sort of new Todd. He has his detective license back and new energy – too much of it. This hour, like Todd himself, gets too frantic at times. Some subsequent ones have been excellent.

3) Sports. Now that college basketball is done, the pros get more time. Today, ABC has a hockey tripleheader – Islanders-Rangers at 12:30 p.m. ET, Kraken-Stars at 3, Bruins-Penguins at 8. FS1 has baseball (Rangers-Astros at 4) and two networks have the new United Football League: It’s District of Columbia vs. Arlington at 1 p.m. on ESPN and Memphis-Birmingham at 7 on Fox.

4) “I Am Heath Ledger” (2017), 8-10 p.m., CW. Here’s a profile of the talented actor who reported an inability to sleep when he was making a movie. He received an Oscar nomination for “Brokeback Mountain,” then won for his work as Joker in “The Dark Knight.” The award was posthumous; his death, at 28, was reported as an accidental overdose, as he tried to sleep.

5) More movies. Two of the all-time greats are on Showtime. The Amercian Film Institute has “The Godfather” (1972, 7 p.m. ) at No. 2 on its all-time list, (behind “Citizen Kane,” with “Godfather II” (1974, 10 p.m.) at No. 32, the only sequel in the top 100. If you prefer big action, “Jurassic Park” (1993) is noon and 6 p.m. on E, with its sequel (1997) at 3 and 9.
