1) “Bob’s Burgers,” 8 p.m., Fox. With sports gobbling up summer Sundays, Fox moves its cartoons to Thursdays. Each has new episodes (3-6 of them), before needing reruns. “Bob’s” (shown here) find a conspiracy theory … “Grimsburg” has male sex workers dying … “Family Guy” has a “White Lotus” take-off … and “Great North” has Judy try dinner theater.
2) “Transplant,” 8 p.m., NBC. Last week, Bash and Mags — friends and intense colleagues — learned they’re competing for the same post-residency job. That sparks a strong season, including a key turning point at the end of this excellent episode.
3) “The Better Sister” opener, Amazon Prime. Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks play sisters, reluctantly linking to solve a murder mystery. That’s an eight-parter, on a big night for streamers. Max has Josh Holloway in “Duster”; Peacock has Natasha Lyonne in an offbeat hour of the delightful “Poker Face,” this time with a too-perfect student.
4) “9-1-1,” 8-11 p.m., ABC. This season’s Halloween episode — with Buck’s decorations becoming way too scary — is at 9 p.m., in a night of reruns. At 8, a cheerleader is in crisis; at 10, a toddler falls down a pipe.
5) ALSO: CBS’ night starts at 8 p.m. with Georgie discovering his father-in-law’s secret, in “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage”; it ends at 10 with Jordana Brewster as a glamorous “lifestyle consultant” on “Elsbeth.” And at 8 p.m. ET, the playoffs have game five of Edmonton-Dallas (hockey, ESPN) and, if needed, Indiana-New York (basketball, TNT).
