1) U.S. Gymnastics Championships, 7-9 p.m., NBC. It’s time for the women (shown here) to have their finals. The men were relegated to Friday on CNBC.
2) “The Chicken Sisters” season-opener, 8 p.m.. Hallmark. The first season started on Hallmark+, with estranged sisters — each with a chicken restaurant — battling on a reality show. Now they’ve merged and things are better … until the reality show starts airing. Wendie Malick and Lea Thompson play the matriarchs, with David James Elliott joining the cast.
3) “The Gilded Age” season-finale is 9 p.m, on HBO. Speaking of matriarchs, there are some imposing ones here. Both Elizabeth (Phylicia Rashad) and Bertha (Carrie Coon) have detoured their daughters’ romances. Bertha’s son Larry also faces romance troubles, but is advancing in his dad’s business.
4) “Nautilus,” 9 p.m., AMC, repeating at 10:08. Setting up next week’s two-hour finale, this is a rarity: With a brief exception, it all happens onboard, with only the sub’s small crew. They have a lot going on, from internal unrest to (alas) metal-eating bugs. It’s an involving hour.
5) Movies. The Lindsay Lohan emphasis continues. Last week was “Freaky Friday,” just before its sequel reached theaters. Now it’s “The Parent Trap” (1998); in her movie debut, Lohan (then 12) played twins, trying to re-unite their parents. Also, Turner Classic Movies has a Clark Gable marathon, including “The Misfits” (with Marilyn Monroe) at 7:15 ET.
