Best-bets for June 13: Football (?) leads a sporty day

1) UFL championship game, 3 p.m. ET, ABC. It’s the final game of the football season (or, at least, pf the oft-ignored spring season). The Louisville Kings and D.C. Defenders (shown here in red) were only 6-4 and 5-5 during the regular season, but they prevailed in the playoffs; now they collide in Washington, D.C.

2) More sports. Basketball’s best-of-seven finals returns to San Antonio for Game 5, with the Spurs and Knicks. That’s 8:30 p.m. ET, with pre-game at 8. And in a change of plans, Fox will carry World Cup games at 3, 6 and 9 p.m., leaving Fox Sports1 to carry baseball at 7:15 and the Cup at midnight. Also: beach volleyball at 7 on CW, WNBA at 8 on CBS.

3) “Wild Spring,” 8 p.m., BBC America. After a full day of nature reruns, here’s the second episode in a new four-parter. As spring emerges, there are fresh opportunities for predators and for scavengers.

4) “My Adventures With Superman,” midnight, Adult Swim (on the Cartoon Network). After a one-year gap, this animated show returns. Clark savors his rural roots, Lois remains a big-city reporter and Jimmy is smitten with Kara (who is Supergirl). In a fairly good episode, a discovery entangles them in new mysteries and adds an intriguing character.

5) Movies. There’s lots of young fun today. Catch “School of Rock” at 7 p.m. on E. Or animation on Freeform, with”Moana” at 6:50, “Coco” at 9:20 and “Encano” at 11:50. Or teen classics on IFC — “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” at 3:30, “The Breakfast Club” at 5:30, “Sixteen Canndles” at 7:45 and “Pretty in Pink” at 9:45.
