1) “House of the Dragon” season-finale, 9 p.m., HBO, rerunning at 10:15. The epic series (shown here) wraps its third season; if you haven’t been keeping up, there’s still time: The previous seven episodes start rerunning at 1:32 p.m., with last week’s episode at 7:50.
2) “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” 9 p.m., AMC, rerunning at 10. Here’s another epic, but a grisly one. Last week, Maggie and Renata made the daring decision to welcome others to their no-zombies refuge. Now hordes arrive, triggering crises. It’s a gory hour, but has some great moments, including the always-superb Jimmi Simpson as Dillard, the barkeep.
3) “Animal Control,” 8:30 p.m., Fox. Far from the dragons and zombies, here’s some fun: Fearing that his enemy Templeton will win an award, Frank vows to top him by rescuing 24 animals in 24 hours. The result is fast and funny. It’s a rerun, as is “The Simpsons” (8 p.m.), with someone — maybe an evil scalper — getting all the K-pop concert tickets.
4) Presidential profiles, Story TV. This cable and digital channel offers a marathon. Its reruns view Obama at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.; Nixon, noon and 8; Reagan, 2 and 10; Franklin Roosevelt, 4 and midnight; and — going way back — Andrew Jackson at 5 p.m. and 1 a.m.
5) Movies: Three gems mix humor with deep characters. At 5 p.m., Sundance has “Moonstruck” (1987), which won Oscars for Cher, Olympia Dukakis and its script; at 7:30, Splash” (1984) is Ron Howard’s tale of a guy (Tom Hanks) and his mermaid (Darryl Hannah). And at 8:33, ABC’s “While Your Were Sleeping” (1995) has great work from Sandra Bullock.
