“AGT” has its singing, swirling, swallowing line-up

After 11 weeks of whoops and buzzers and such, “America’s Got Talent” finally has the line-up for its live shows.
Beginning Aug. 18, acts will perform on four Tuesdays — 11 per week, but 10 on Sept. 8. Viewers will vote, then will learn the next day who made it to the semi-finals, Sept. 15.
Almost half the acts –19 of 43 — are musicians, but the rest are scattered.
There are six dance acts, including dancing dogs, dancing robots and light-up dancers. There are five magic acts, four comedians and a contortionist, plus aerialists (shown here is Veronica Goroshkova, who performs Aug. 25), acrobats and more, including two guys who swallow swords. Read more…

Also, it’s not just Americans with talent. These people also come from Australia, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Holland, Japan, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Thailand and the Ukraine.
Here’s the line-up, with shows at 8 p.m. on NBC:

AUGUST 18
— Four music acts: Ashford Sanders, Brook Lynn, rapper Luke Taleno and the CommUNITY Choir, from Atlanta.
— Two dance acts: Sando and the Royal Lasers light-up dancers.
— Two magic acts: Hundred Fingers and mentalists James & Marina.
— Also: comedian Cris Sosa, the Jesse White Tumbling Team and 17-year-old Olivia Befus with her dog act.

AUGUST 25
— Six music acts: Bety, Butter & Grit, Mackenzie Sol, Nyjah Music & Zyah Rhythm, rapper LaRussell and singer-guitarist Nene Royal.
— Two dance acts: Come Here and Patrox.
— Brad & Tracy. She’s a retired professor; her husband does sword-swallowing, nail-hammering and nose-ring stunts.
— Also: magician Geno Ploeger and aerialist Veronikca Goroshkova.

SEPTEMBER 1
— Five music acts: Elsie, Isaac Atkins, Lai Noelle, Pynk Beard and singer/poet Guy Kelton Jones.
— Two aerialists: Holland & Sienna and Herwan Legaillard, who’s also a sword-swallower.
— Acro Canine Crew, a dancing-dog act.
— Also: comedian Daniel Alvarez, contortionist Maria and magician Kameron Marshall.

SEPTEMBER 8
— Four music acts: Bird & Byron, Jesse Joe, Lara D and Travis Garland.
— Two comedians: Cameron Logsdon, who does impressions, and Cesar Dias, who sings.
— Akira, who simply strips naked and uses objects to remain semi-discreet.
— Also: acrobat Ruben Roldan, magicians Young and Strange and Unitree, a robot-dancers act.
