1) “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” finale, 8 p.m., ABC. Three people remain in the running to become one of the pro dancers on “Stars.” There are two Los Angeles women — Selena Hamilton (shown here), 21, and Adele Zaikman, 24 — and a London guy, AJ Pritchard, 31. They dance tonight with Adam Rippon, Nev Schulman and Charli D’Amelio.
2) “American Ninja Warrior” finale, 8-10, NBC. It’s time to find the show’s 18th champion. In most years, there was a $1 million prize — but only for someone who finished the entire course on time; that only happened four times. Starting last year, that changed: The finish is a straight, head-to-head race, with the winner getting $250,000.
3) “POV: Arrest the Midwife,” 10 p.m., PBS. In rural stretches of New York, some women — especially Mennonites — prefer home births. But the state’s laws (unlike Pennsylvania’s) discourage midwives. In a potent documentary, we see good-hearted souls (including one who’s had 10 home births of her own), facing court charges. The result is deeply moving.
4) “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” 9 p.m., FX and FXX. When their van breaks down, these people must fend for themselves — which they’re really not good at. And stick around at 9:30, for a rerun of the “Adults” season-opener. It’s hilarious, as mid-20s folks try to scrub their social-media past.
5) MORE: There are new episodes of “All American” at 8 p.m. on CW (KJ struggles to run the showcase on his own) and “The Librarians” at 9 on TNT (tackling a long-ago mystery). The latter follows Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” and “The Dark Knight Rises,” at 2 and 5:30 p.m.
