1) “Night Court” season-finales, 8 and 8:30 p.m., NBC. These may be the final new episodes for a once-strong show has seemed headed to cancellation. Abby (shown here) has been the “fun judge,” as was her dad; now another judge gets the title. In the second episode, she’s in charge of two runaway teens.
2) “FBI: International” and “FBI: Most Wanted,” 9 and 10 p.m., CBS. Unlike “Night Court,” these shows learned fairly early that they won’t be back. (Their series finales are May 20.) Tonight, “International” has a prisoner-swap in Belgrade; “Most Wanted” looks for a kidnapped mayor.
3) “Alert: Missing Persons Unit,” 9 p.m., Fox. In huge changes this season, “Alert” killed one of its main characters and upgraded Kemi Adebayo (Adeola Role) from office flake to skilled detective. Now that pays off: She plays a vital part in an otherwise nasty and grisly story. Alas, the episode apparently ousts another excellent character.
4) “Pati Jinich Explores PanAmericana,” 9 p.m., PBS. After a shaky start — 10 minutes of abstract talk –this hour finds its stride. Jinich visits the capitals of Alaska (Juneau) and the Yukon (Whitehorse), finding flannel, fiddles and food, plus stories of past Alaskan racism toward outsiders and natives.
5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., Fox’s “Cleaning Lady” has Thony trying to stand up to Ramona, the unflinching sometimes-boss of a cartel. At 9, “The Rookie” tries to help Randy, whose new love-interest has been kidnapped. And at 10, PBS’ “Frontline” airs “Antidote,” a 2024 documentary about whistleblowers risking their lives to expose Vladimir Putin.
