Best-bets for May 21: four finales and two openers

1) “Survivor” finale, 8-11 p.m., CBS. Five people still have a shot at the million-dollar prize. There’s Eva Erickson, Ph.D. candidate and hockey player; Kyle Fraser (shown here in last week’s episode), 31, a lawyer; Kamilla Karthigesu, 31, a software engineer; Mitch Guerra, 34, a gym coach; and Joe Hunter, 45, a fire captain. 2) “Chicago P.D.” season finale, 10 p.m., NBC. With the entire unit shut down for an Internal Affairs probe, everyone goes off-book, trying to finally bring down Reid, the corrupt deputy police chief. During the commotion, Adam Ruzek and Kim Burgess consider delaying their wedding

3) “Chicago Med,” 8 p.m., NBC. Goodwin (S. Epatha Merlerson) has been told to make sharp budget cuts. Also,the daughter of Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) is hospitalized after a car accident. Tha’t’s followed by the “Chicago Fire” season-finale, with Severide making a career-risking decision. All three Chicago shows will be back next season.

4) “MasterChef” opener, 8 p.m., Fox. This is s the show that involves home chefs, allowing Gordon Ramsay to be almost pleasant. In a change, it will use duos — spouses, siblings, generations, etc. At 9:02 is the debut of “Secret Service”: Ramsay secretly investigates a restaurant, before helping it.

5) “Sullivan’s Crossing,” 8 p.m., CW. In the aftermath of the diner fire, Maggie lost her pregnancy (via her ex-fiance); her dad Sully (who rushed into the diner) survived. That came after she and Cal finally professed their love for each other. Now a strong episode finds joy, despair … and the new renter (Kate Vernon) who keeps annoying Sully.
